See the White Desert in a single day. We pick you up from your Cairo hotel at 6:30 am, drive to the Western Desert with a Bedouin guide from Bahariya Oasis, and bring you back to your hotel between 12 and 1 am.
It is a long day, but you see the landscape that makes the trip famous: the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain and the chalk formations of the White Desert, including Mushroom Valley. You watch the sunset over the white rock before the drive back.
This is the right choice if you have only one day. If you can spare a night, our camping tours give you the sunset, the stars and the sunrise on the chalk.

Day 1:
6:30 am | Pick-up from your Cairo hotel | We leave Cairo and drive south through the desert road toward Bahariya Oasis.
Midday | Bahariya Oasis and lunch | A break in the oasis for lunch before we enter the desert by 4x4.
Afternoon | Black Desert and Crystal Mountain | Dark volcanic hills, then a ridge of quartz crystal.
Late afternoon | El Agabat valley and the White Desert | Chalk towers in every shape, including Mushroom Valley. We stay for the sunset.
Evening | The drive back to Cairo | We leave the desert after sunset and drive back to Cairo.
12 am to 1 am | Drop-off at your Cairo hotel | We drop you at your hotel.
